Warning - Possible spoilers : I rarely dislike a podcast, or i would not write on it, but this was disappointing. I was surprised to see that it's a recent podcast. It has the defaults a podcast from 2017-2018 would have. By that, i mean that it has a "beginner" feel to it ( for example uses of terrible "gulping" sounds that gives a comic effect in a story supposedly terryfing). I laughed or sighed many times when i should have been buried under covers. Maybe it wasn't for me : while I like cosmic horror, I'm not in love with sci-fy lore. I felt like it was a good idea executed poorly. The writing is a bit lazy (a lot of repetitions of the same idea, poor vocabulary overall), the acting is flat or over the top...There's an attempt at a feminist view that also falls flat, since women are oppressed in way many more complex situations than the one portrayed in the story. The initial challenge was a very good idea, but it needs to be refined. Maybe it should be a bit longer, so that the writer would not take so many shortcuts.
