However, The Morning Announcements podcast makes the onslaught of tragedy that seems to be the world, by making the news more palatable. Host Sami Sage delivers roasts (aka clever quips and critiques) with a dry cadence of speech ahead of a semi-uptempo soundtrack that gives off major Kurt Louder 1900s MTV News deliver vibes and I am here for it. The judicial dropping of f-bombs makes me feel like I am talking to someone over beers about the days events. Where we both have the understanding that, "Yeah, everything sucks - but at least we all know it sucks and we don't need to be 'Dan-Rather-Dramatic' about it. There is still hope to be had. [Finish beer] Same time tomorrow?" I dig it.
