Autistic, Older, No Filter...
Where you sit on the spectrum makes a huge difference. I am not at the needing support, nor the eccentric end. I am in what I refer to as ‘no mans land‘, where a lot of older Autistic adults sit in limbo.
You are in that section of the spectrum where you don‘t find others who share the same quirks, outlooks or traits as other Autistic people. Your Autism also isn‘t obvious to others, which requires you to tow an ever-changing line.
This is a personal podcast focusing on different aspects of life as an older Autistic person, and the potential difficulties faced across a range of any and all topics. From friendships, work-life balance, as well as the rapidly changing world around us, and the effects it has on expectations that are not easy to achieve.
This podcast is intended to be a ‘tell-all‘ with no other agenda, than to show the world through the eyes and mind on an Autistic male stuck in the void of the spectrum that doesn‘t make for good reading.
