The story of Tucker Peacock, a jocular character, working at an electronics store (Fartronics) and is a 'keen Fortean Times' reader, who then follows his nose to uncover the mysteries of the universe, which leads him (by way of nearly drowning in a lake in Boyle, Roscommon) to the inventor 'Timefiddler' who fashions a toilet that can traverse spacetime. Of course, many things go wrong to leave him in the lurch often but Tucker's never lost for an amusing bon mot. Check out the hypnotic sound design in Atlantis, ancient Rome and 'The State of Busher' that will suck you in. Not to mention the fact that Tucker always seems to get his end away across the millennia with some helpful ladies of the time he's found himself in. A rip-roaring ride from Amplevoice, with Tucker perched excitedly atop an Armitage Shanks, that fantastically updates those old radio dramas and Superman audio series into something highly enjoyable, and a bit rude too. Be warned and be engulfed by the Timefiddler.
