Lazarus' death was felt deeply by his friends and loved ones, and the interaction that Jesus has with Lazarus' sisters proves that they had resigned themselves to the fact that this was the end. But this miracle that Jesus performs displayed how even death itself could not stop His power.

This Sunday we unpacked this story in a message called, “Back to Life” with the hope that we would be encouraged not to give up on our prayers, but rather continue to come back to God even in the most dire of circumstances.
