 Reliance, Bill Gates, other investors to invest $144 mn in Ambri Inc

The investment will commercialise and grow the company's long-duration battery storage systems. The company is to invest after Reliance unveiled an investment of $10 billion in a green power plant for net carbon zero by 2035, along with developing four Giga factories in Jamnagar, Gujarat, as a project of the Dhirubhai Ambani Green Energy Giga Complex. The facility will produce solar cells, solar modules, energy storage batteries, fuel cells and green hydrogen.

 CREDAI urges govt. to allow input tax credit for developers

CREDAI, a real estate developer, has asked that input tax credit (ITC) below the goods and service tax (GST) administration must be allowed to developers. As it could lead to a decrease in housing prices by 10%.

 Maharashtra govt. flags off 24 more e-buses for Mumbai

These e-buses can take 35 passengers and 24 standees. For the physically challenged, the buses have wheelchair access, ITMS, based on GPS, panic buttons, air suspension, and other amenities that would make it simpler for the bus driver to operate without gears and clutches. It would also benefit in reducing air and noise pollution.

 Goa RERA drafts rules to extend realty project deadlines by a year

The department of urban development has drafted rules to prolong the completion timelines for real estate projects, registered with the Goa Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA). According to the rules, the builder would be given an additional term of one year to achieve the project, with any further extension being given on a case to case basis.

 Thirteen states in India approve dedicated electric vehicle policies

Delhi, Kerala, Maharashtra, Telangana, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Meghalaya and West Bengal, have approved the dedicated electric vehicle policies to promote the adoption of electric vehicles.
