 Karnataka govt asks Nirmithi Kendras to opt for green construction.

In 2020, the Bengaluru government ordered all the Nirmithi Kendras or infrastructure development societies in Karnataka districts to shift towards low-cost, environmentally-friendly materials for green constructions.

 Tata Motors signs MoU with Gujarat to set up vehicle scrapping unit.

As a part of the Investment Promotion Activity, Tata Motors signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the government of Gujarat to set up a Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility (RVSF) in Ahmedabad for passengers and commercial vehicles. The scrapping unit would be able to recycle up to 36,000 vehicles every year.

 Govt nods usage of drones for 10 firms for various purposes.

Government of Karnataka, Mahindra and Mahindra Limited, Blue Ray aviation, Asia Pacific, Bayer Crop Science, Gangtok smart city development Limited, Steel Authority of India Limited, Chennai- based Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited, The national health mission in Mumbai are the 10 firms. The ministry said, that it has given a conditional exemption to 10 organisations from the unmanned aircraft system (UAS) Rules, 2021, and it is valid for a year from the approval date or until further orders.

 Guwahati smart city to overhaul project operations with a new zeal.

The Guwahati smart city department has claimed to restore its operations with new enthusiasm after an initial gap. According to the insiders of the Guwahati Smart City Limited (GSCL), a revamp has been made with fresh projects along with carrying over a few of the old projects. 14 projects are on their pipeline.

 Saturn Realtors purchases Kingfisher House for Rs 52 crore.

Kingfisher House, the former headquarters of the bankrupt airline, has been sold to Saturn Realtors for Rs 52 crore. The building comprises a basement, an upper-ground floor, a ground floor, and an upper floor, measuring a total of 1,586 sq mt, housed on a 2,402 sq mt plot. On 31 July, the registration of the deal took place. The Maharashtra government received Rs 2.61 crore as stamp duty from Saturn Realtors.
