This week on Discover the Hustle podcast we talk about and GIVE our pitch that we will be giving to Daymond John. Daymond is known widely from the TV show 'Shark Tank' and from his book 'Power of Broke". He is a very popular investor and widely respected among many including the business world. Because we wanted to have an upload ready for you this week, we decided to show you what we will be presenting to Daymond. Good afternoon everyone, my name is Dylan Parks, I’m a senior at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and the ceo of golf shots. My name is Brad Ploch I’m the CMO and also a senior at UWO.

Quick show of hands for us, how many of you have a friend or family member that golfs? Now keep your hand up if you know exactly what you’re getting this person for Christmas, their next birthday, or any other gift giving occasion? If you’ve ever tried to go shopping for a golfer, you know how hard it is. Do you choose the $1000 set of clubs or the $2 bag of tees? These options make it hard to show how much you care about them without breaking the bank. The good news is we have a solution.

You see, golf today isn’t the same game our grandparents or even our parents played. The game is shifting to become more of a socializing opportunity for younger golfers, often accompanied by beer and hard liquor. So we wanted to create a fun and unique way for golfers to enjoy the game more, on and off the course. What’s great is that it’s also an affordable gift idea for your special golfer.

This new product is Golf Shots, the world’s first golf ball shaped shot glass. Simply fill up golf shots with liquor at home, discreetly keep it in your golf bag, and while you’re out on the course take golf shots out for the round between rounds. Or you can also meet up off the course  and have golf shots for an excuse to get together with your golf buddies.

Golf Shots comes in a sleeve of 3 just like normal golf balls, holds 1.5 oz of any liquid, and is patent pending.

Golf Shots is sold for just $15. When producing more than 5,000 sleeves we can manufacture and package each sleeve of 3 for just $1.50. Over the past 6 months, we have placed in various competitions, received grant funding, and in just the first week of pre orders we were able to do $2,000 in sales, which we are now working on filling with 3D printed inventory.

We are currently searching for either an investment of $25,000 to begin manufacturing or for an established company to do a licensing deal with. The $25,000 would be used for the cost of the molds, our first production run, and advertising. After we launch golf shots we want to expand our product line by creating fun, new ways for every sports fan to drink.
