Meet The Guest! 

 Victoria Marie is the producer and director of the award-winning documentary “Gray is the new blonde”. When moving from Florida to Los Angeles in her 50s to pursue a career in the entertainment industry (mind you, she had one credit from a movie with Burt Reynolds and was competing for more opportunities against women about 30+ years more experienced than her!). Around that time, she made a YouTube video about her gray hair, titling it “Gray is the New Blonde” as it had been some time since she dyed it! She realized the beauty industry made money by making women feel bad about themselves and wanted to change that. Surprisingly (and delightfully), her video hit a nerve with people! People thronged into the comment box writing about the topic and supporting it. There was a large audience for the subject of “women going gray”!

Over time, with no particular monetization strategy, she made “Gray is the New Blonde”, the award-winning and sensational documentary. Creating it with meticulous detail and patience, she brought people on the journey of going gray. That’s also how she met David Nelson, who was her director of photography. As she recalls her journey creating the documentary, she reveals she wouldn't change a thing about it!
