# 012 - Sara Quiriconi, better known as Live Free Warrior, is a survivor of childhood cancer, motivational speaker, and model. After listening to this episode, parents should have a better understanding of what a child might think and feel during treatment, how to communicate with their child, how a child might feel after survival in the oncology world, and a how they feel about the procedures. After extended stays in the pediatric oncology unit and surviving childhood cancer, Sara has come to take on cancer with a different understanding, acknowledging this is her one life, and she has to live it to its fullest. She authored the book "Living Cancer Free," which highlights her ups and downs, many of which are discussed in this episode. As a side note, she offers her opinion for oncologists to better help those with medical issues compacted with a cancer diagnosis.
