Hopefully, these income reports will help motivate and encourage you while you build your passive income streams. They show that you can recover from any pothole on the road to passive income success. Please note the monthly numbers have been adjusted to reflect ANY refunds and expenses thereby leaving only my net profit.
Let’s review March’s income:
Amazon Sales
As I mentioned in my last income report, the sale of my portable washer site and the long process of recovering from Amazon’s restriction of my selling privileges would have a big impact on March’s income report…and, sure enough, it did. Although, the sale of the site provided a bit of immediate cash infusion, the ongoing revenue received has been cutoff. Amazon commissions and Adsense earnings have come to a temporary halt. I do have other sites up and running, but none of them are earning at the moment even though they are now ranking for certain keywords. I still have not begun any SEO work on those sites, so I do not expect them to rank in the Top 10 for my keywords any time soon.
There were thirty-eight (38) total orders for the month of March, therefore:
Total Orders = 38 orders (down 16 from February 2014)$423 (Total Net Profit)/ 38 orders = $11.13 per order (up from February 2014)
$423/380 minutes total (6.5hrs.) = $65.07 per hour (down from last month)
So, as you can clearly see, my income took a serious “beating” in March, but I’m in the recovery phase and expect to see it rise over the next two months or so.
I’ve teamed up with another “Mastermind” to begin developing a handful of niche sites for the purpose of flipping. We’ve completed the initial phase of our project (keyword research, purchased domain names, installed WordPress and plugins, added content) and will be moving on to the second phase of our project soon which entails backlinking. It’s definitely exciting, but involves a lot of hard work. Hope to have more updates available for you soon…..
