Through his own personal experience in childhood, Ben became interested in how families impact our perception of ourselves, and how that impacts our mental health. In this episode, we discuss why understanding how your family of origin may clarify thoughts, beliefs, behaviors, and ways of relating to others. It may be painful to dig in to the experiences you may have experienced when you were younger, but I hope after listening you are encouraged that it is a worthy endeavor, with healing, hope, and connectedness on the other side. We know as Christians that our true heritage is in our Heavenly Father, our identity is in Jesus Christ, and our family is in the Church.

As always, we're collecting bits of truth, because our mission is to create a mosaic containing stories and revelations of truth, to see the bigger picture of who God is and what he has for us.

The music in the episode is from my good friend, Hannah Stenman. You can find and download her songs on Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music. To learn more about her and her husband, visit https://www.bradandhannah.com
