Episode 5 | Post Traumatic Healing

Post-traumatic stress disorder (also known as PTSD) can cause debilitating symptoms, but it’s important to understand that recovery is possible   There are protective factors that we develop in childhood that can limit PTSD symptoms and there is post-traumatic growth that also occurs following healing.   In today’s podcast, we delve into the protective factors, and then healing and growth following PTSD.  We also discuss the important role of boundaries and self-reflection in healing.  Trauma comes in many forms and each person’s journey is an individual one, but understanding key concepts in protection, healing, and growth can not only be a guide but support those suffering from the effects of trauma and those who love them.
