Great advice, personally I would find something other than the climate to converse with the other person, seems less confrontational.

This episode does a great job of incorporate man/woman on the street interviews with science/research and Marco Silva gives some great tips at the tail end. Don't confront a climate denier, be diplomatic, find common ground and launch a conversation from that point. This isn't necessarily new, but the way The Climate Question framed/interwove different voices was extra engaging.
