The discussion focuses on the nature of social isolation and social networks in college, sharing diverse perspectives on how perceived social networks impacts health and how social wellness in turn effects our ability to have strong connections with others. Guests include Dr. Jason Schnittker, Professor of Sociology at Penn whose research focuses on social factors of health; Jared Fenton, Executive Director of The Reflect Organization, a nationally recognized nonprofit dedicated to empowering students to foster a culture of authenticity, self-love, and allyship on campus; and Emily Hunt of Penn Benjamins, a peer counseling group run by students, for students at Penn.
