Covered briefly on Case Profiles #39, Katie and Liz tell a more detailed and full version of the murder of 17-year-old Nereida Melendez in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1989. Nereida disappeared on the day of her high school graduation, and was found the next day, murdered. For this episode, Katie and Liz had the pleasure of talking with Nereida’s oldest brother, Peter Vasquez, and his wife, Margie Vasquez.
