Liza is the co-director for the Brennan Center for Justice’s Liberty & National Security Program. She is a nationally recognized expert on presidential emergency powers, government surveillance, and government secrecy. Her writing has been featured in outlets such as the New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal. She has made appearances on MSNBC, CNN, and NPR, and has testified before the Senate and House Judiciary Committees.
