This episode bought tears to my eyes, especially when Catherine started to sing.  So powerful. 

Today's episode is about abusive relationships an incredibly sensitive topic and I'm joined by Catherine Ferin.  

Catherine is open and honest and talks about her mother and father's abusive relationship when she was growing up.  

She talked about the forgiveness that she had for her father. The braveness of her mother leaving her father in her 60s and the happy life that she lived.  

Catherine has worked in this field for the last 25 years; she is informative and helpful to anyone that needs support.  

I think when we're in this situation we can become really embarrassed, that this has happened to us.  

We weren’t strong enough to fix things.  

My most important message to you is reaching out for help doesn't mean a weakness it just shows strength grit and determination that you want to change your life for the better.
